Its was a little warmer today—just a little. And the cats wanted to be on the screened-in porch. Sapphire is too little to be out there still. And she hasn’t learned how to use the cat door. This was this morning…

I’ve been wanting to get a cat wheel from the Cat Wheel Company for ages! I finally have one! It was delivered by Fed Ex in a large box yesterday. The box had a picture of the wheel and a description. The Fed Ex guy really wanted to ask about it. He had that “What the heck is this?” look on his face. But because he was a professional, he didn’t say anything. They aren’t supposed to discuss what’s in the boxes they deliver, after all.

Once the “Toy-Go-Round” was assembled, Shine immediately jumped on and took a little walk. With a little enticement with a laser, Ace and Sapphire each took a turn, walking then trotting. They were figuring out how to move and balance. It didn’t take them long at all.

Today both Ace and Sapphire got right on the Toy-Go-Round on their own. They didn’t need to chase the laser, they just galloped for the joy of it!

Tonight I came home from work and wanted to video them on the wheel so I used the laser to get some film. I also took some pictures. I am so pleased with the Toy-Go-Round! Sometimes it takes a little while to get a cat to use a cat wheel.  But this just seemed effortless!

I’ve been very bad! I made a video of Shine while my husband was sleeping and SNORING!!! He never believed me when I said he snored. I am deaf in one ear and I can still hear him…So now its been documented!
I love this video of Shine because it shows how expressive her face is. She doesn’t have to do or say anything, she expresses herself with her eyes and angle of her head. I adore Shine.
